Roma overcome Sparta Praha

Roma beat Sparta Praha in a win on Thursday, 4x1, in a match relating of the Women Champions League. Roma's team beat Praha's team, 2x1, in the first leg of the tie.

The first goal was scored by Petra Bertholdová after 25 minutes. In the 35th minute, Carina Wenninger fired home for Roma, assisted by Manuela Giugliano.

Alessandro Spugna's team scored their second goal of the game through Andressa Alves, with 55 minutes on the clock. After 61 minutes, Paloma Lázaro had a golden chance to score but missed the penalty. With 70 minutes on the clock, Roma's team extended their lead with a goal from Moeka Minami. After 81 minutes, Emilie Haavi scored the last goal of the match, laid on by Annamaria Serturini.

Thanks to this result, Roma are through to the next round of the competition.
