Two EFL games have been called off this weekend due to COVID and mounting injuries.
Barnsley were set to take on Blackpool in the Championship but the Tykes are unable to play due to injuries and a number of cases in their squad. This is the second postponement for Barnsley in a row as they were set to face Stoke City in the Championship this week.
Meanwhile, there’s a similar situation in Oldham, as the Latics game at home to Leyton Orient has also been postponed with cases and injuries piling up for the struggling League Two club.
Currently, EFL rules state that games must go ahead if 14 players including a goalkeeper are available.
