Brentford earned a comfortable 2-0 win over West Ham United in a home Premier League match at the Gtech Community Stadium, thanks to first-half goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.
Despite some early missed chances, Brentford took the lead in the 20th minute through Mbeumo's calm finish into the bottom corner.
The Bees continued to press and doubled their lead in the 40th minute when Wissa headed in from close range after meeting a header from Mee.
The hosts had had several more opportunities to increase their lead throughout the game but could not convert them.
In the 67th minute, Danny Ings scored what West Ham thought was a goal to reduce the deficit, but after a VAR check, it was disallowed due to a handball by Divin Mubama.
With this result, Thomas Frank's side moved into ninth place in the Premier League table, four points behind seventh-placed Aston Villa, while the Hammers remain 15th, six points adrift of the relegation zone.
