Fulham started the Premier League Summer Series with a thrilling 3-2 win against Brentford in Philadelphia.
In the third minute of the game, Fulham took the lead through Harry Wilson, who scored a magnificent goal that left Brentford's debutant goalkeeper Mark Flekken rooted to his spot.
Shortly after, Yoane Wissa levelled by tapping in a flick from Keane Lewis-Potter during a corner kick.
However, just before half-time, Bobby De Cordova-Reid scored a powerful low shot past Flekken at the near post, giving Fulham the lead again.
On the stroke of the first half Joao Palhinha suffered a shoulder injury, causing concern for Fulham's manager Marco Silva, who had to replace him.
Carlos Vinicius came on as a substitute at half time, and it took him less than two minutes to increase Fulham's lead.
The Brazilian striker skillfully redirected a low shot beyond substitute goalkeeper David Raya, expertly controlling Wilson's pass before flicking it into the net.
Kristoffer Ajer managed to pull one back just two minutes later by arriving late in the box, but despite their efforts, Thomas Frank's side couldn't find the equaliser.
Next up, Fulham will face Aston Villa in Orlando on Wednesday, while the Bees will take on Brighton & Hove Albion in Atlanta on Wednesday.
