Brighton soared to the top of the Premier League table with a commanding 4-1 win over Wolves at the Molineux. Kaoru Mitoma's exceptional solo goal in the first half and a second-half brace from Solly March secured Brighton's dominance.

The match burst into life in the 15th minute when Kaoru Mitoma showcased his brilliance with a mesmerizing run. Cutting inside from 40 yards out, he deftly maneuvered past three Wolves defenders before slotting the ball beyond goalkeeper Jose Sa, giving Brighton a slender lead at half-time.

In the second half, Roberto De Zerbi's men unleashed a devastating offensive onslaught, effectively putting the game beyond reach for Wolves with three goals in just nine minutes.

Pervis Estupinan capitalised on Mitoma's set-up, converting the rebound from Danny Welbeck's powerful shot that had been parried by Sá.

Solly March opened his account in the 51st minute, thundering a shot home after a precise pass from the youthful forward Julio Enciso placed him perfectly in the penalty area.

Merely four minutes later, March completed his brace in a strikingly similar fashion, this time connecting with another Enciso delivery from the opposite edge of the area.

The hosts fought back valiantly, as substitute Hwang Hee-chan nodded in a corner kick from fellow substitute Pablo Sarabia just after the hour mark, providing a glimmer of hope.

Despite Wolves' spirited efforts to reduce the deficit, they were met with a resilient Brighton defence.

Wolves' fortunes continued to plummet as Matheus Nunes received a second yellow card in stoppage time, culminating in a frustrating end for the home side.

Brighton will be aiming to make it three wins in a row when they host West Ham next Saturday, while Wolves will travel to Everton on the same afternoon.

Solly March then added two more goals to make it 4-0, and though Wolves would pull one back late on through Raul Jiminez, it was too little, too late.

What a performance from Brighton! Mitoma's world-class solo goal really set the tone and March's brace put the game to bed. An impressive win for the Seagulls!

March then added two more, his first being a delightful header from a pinpoint Pascal Groß cross.
