Oldham Athletic put in an impressive away performance as the Latics handed Barnet their third defeat in a row.
The visitors took the lead from the penalty spot with James Norwood after Barnet goalkeeper Laurie Walker had dragged down Mike Fondop to prevent a certain goal.
Barnet did have the ball in the net not long after but the effort was ruled out for offside.
The Bees did eventually equalise with just over ten minutes gone in the second half when Idris Kanu was brought down. Harry Pritchard sent his spot-kick straight down the middle to level the score.
However, Oldham were the better side and were frequently able to get in behind the Barnet defence with long balls over the top.
Oldham retook the lead just five minutes later through Fondop – who was causing problems all night – before the influential Norwood made it 3-1 shortly after after keeping great composure to round Walker and slot into an empty net.
Norwood was also involved in Oldham’s fourth as well when he set up substitute Hallam Hope to seal a 4-1 victory and put a dent in Barnet’s National League title hopes.
