Alejandro Garnacho scored a 'Goal of the Season' contender, as Manchester United comfortably beat Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
With Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag watching from the stands, Argentine winger Garnacho got the visitors off to a flying start with a sensational bicycle kick from Diogo Dalot's cross within the first five minutes, a second-half penalty from Marcus Rashford and a cute finish from Anthony Martial completing the scoring.
The Action: Garnacho's outstanding opening goal was the undoubted highlight of the game, and it arrived after just three minutes - a floated cross from Portuguese full-back Dalot seemingly of little danger until the Argentine youngster leapt into the air and crashed an outrageous overhead kick into the top corner of Jordan Pickford's net.
With debutant Kobbie Mainoo assured in midfield, United maintained their composure as the home side looked for a way back into the game - although the visitors rode their luck on occasion during the first half with Dominic Calvert-Lewin going close on several occasions for Everton.
After the break, the Red Devils ran away with it, Rashford converting from the spot with a confident penalty - after Ashley Young was deemed to have tripped Martial - and then Martial netting himself with a lovely flicked finish from Bruno Fernandes' through ball.
United move up to sixth in the Premier League, while Everton are 19th, five points adrift of safety, following their recent ten point deduction for breaching profit and sustainability rules.
