Ten-man Burnley came from behind twice to secure a well-deserved 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea dominated early on, with Cole Palmer narrowly missing the target with a shot. Midway through the first half, Axel Disasi appeared to score for Chelsea, but it was disallowed for handball.
Just before half-time, the Blues was awarded a penalty after Lorenz Assignon fouled Mykhaylo Mudryk, leading to Assignon's second yellow card and Burnley being reduced to ten men.
Despite protests from Burnley boss Kompany, the decision stood, and Palmer converted the penalty to give Chelsea the lead.
Burnley equalised shortly after the break through Josh Cullen's impressive half-volley from the edge of the Chelsea penalty box.
The hosts regained the lead with Palmer's second goal in the 78th minute, picking out the bottom corner from inside the box after being found by Raheem Sterling.
The visitors didn't give up and swiftly responded and levelled the score again just three minutes later, this time with a powerful header from Dara O'Shea.
Both teams had chances to win the game late on, but neither could find the decisive goal.
The draw sees Burnley move to 18 points, still in 19th place, while Chelsea remains in 11th position with 40 points from 28 matches.
