In an interview with BBC Radio Leicester Sport’s Leicester City correspondent Owynn Palmer-Atkin, Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has said he has ‘no intention’ of leaving the Foxes this summer.
The 25-year-old Nottingham-born midfield star said: “I’ve been at Leicester since I was eight years’ old and I’ve got no intention of leaving.”
Dewsbury-Hall has been instrumental for Enzo Maresca’s side this season as they were crowned champions of the second-tier with a 3-0 defeat of Preston North End at Deepdale on Monday evening.
Dewsbury-Hall has scored 12 goals in the Championship this season and also provided 14 assists, marking him out as one of the very best players in the division as they prepare to finish the season against Blackburn Rovers at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
He had been heavily linked with moves to both Liverpool and Manchester United in the last couple of months with suggestions that Leicester need to sell a player for big money this summer to comply with Profit & Sustainability Rules with the expectation being that they will start the 2024/25 Premier League season with a points deduction.
Dewsbury-Hall came through the academy at Leicester but enjoyed impressive loan spells with both Blackpool and Luton Town before establishing himself in the first-team in 2021.
