League One leaders Rotherham eased past Doncaster with a 5-0 win at the Eco-Power Stadium to extend their lead at the top to three points.
Mikel Miller, Ben Wiles, Chiedozie Ogbene, a Dan Barlaser penalty and Jamie Lindsay were the goal scorers as the Millers took advantage of a 1-1 draw between promotion chasers Wigan and Oxford.
The Latics had to fight back to level against Oxford, with Callum Lang's equaliser cancelling out Matty Taylor's opener. After the draw, Wigan are now three points behind Rotherham, but with two games in hand.
Elsewhere, Bolton maintained their good form andmade it four wins in a row with a 2-0 win against Cambridge United at the University of Bolton Stadium. Amadou Bakayoko and Oladapo Afolayan scored the goals for the Trotters.
In addition to the four straight wins, Ian Evatt's men have also collected four clean sheets, which makes 19-year-old goalkeeper James Trafford the first goalkeeper in Wanderers’ history not to concede a goal in their first four games for the club.

In League Two, Tranmere recovered from Saturday's heavy defeat with a 1-0 win over Stevenage in Birkenhead. Kierron Morris scored the winner for the Rovers, which allowed them to recover two points from leaders Forest Green.
Forest Green dropped two points (or won one point?) in their fantastic campaign after a 1-1 draw at the Vale Park. Ryan Edmondson took the lead for the hosts, but Matty Stevens with 10 minutes to play levelled the game for Rob Edwards' side.
Northampton must be the disappointed side of the evening after losing at home against relegation-strugglers Barrow 1-0. Aaron Halloway's second-half goal denied a win for the Cobblers, who would take them to the third place in the table, but with this result they will remain fifth 12 points behind leaders Forest Green.
