Southampton's Carlos Alcaraz is having a medical with Juventus today ahead of a transfer that could reportedly be worth more than £45m.
According to various sources in the media, the midfielder will undergo the medical tests in England and, if there are no issues, he will fly to Turin tonight to complete the move to the Serie A giants.
Juve's prospective deal with the Saints is understood to involve an initial loan, with a fee of £3m, which also contains an option to buy the player in the summer for £45m.
The loan fee will reportedly increase should Alcaraz not feature in a designated number of games over the remainder of the season.
This term so far, the 21-year-old midfielder has made 23 Championship appearances for the high-flying Saints, who sit third in the table after a 20-match unbeaten league run that stretches back to last September.
