Asking price could veto any potential deals

League One clubs target Bantams striker

Bradford City striker Jake Young is attracting interest from a trio of League One clubs, according to Sky Sports.

The 22-year-old forward was prolific during a loan spell with Swindon during the first part of the season, scoring 16 League Two goals, and was recalled by Bantams manager Graham Alexander this month.

Although Bradford are understood to want to hold on to Young, Carlisle, Derby and Charlton are all reportedly interested in signing the 22-year-old forward.

The asking price slapped on Young is currently scaring off some of his potential suitors: Carlisle boss Paul Simpson saying this week that Bradford's asking price is too high.

“He’s a player who we all like but we can't afford him. Bradford are talking a ridiculous figure so that won't be happening,” said Simpson.

Wow, what a talent! Watching Jake Young play for Swindon was a treat, no surprise that he's attracting interest from League One clubs. But c'mon Bradford, let the boy go - don't be greedy. He deserves a chance to shine at a higher level.

Wow, this Young guy is really making a name for himself! 16 goals in League Two is no small feat. I hope Bradford can hold on to him, but I can see why other clubs are interested.

As a football fan, I think it's great to see Young attracting interest from higher level clubs. He's been in fantastic form this season and it's no surprise that teams are lining up to try and sign him. However, I also understand that Bradford want to hold on to him and are asking for a high price. It's a shame that some clubs are being scared off by this, but at the end of the day, it's up to Bradford to decide what they want to do

As a football fan, I am excited to hear that Jake Young is attracting interest from League One clubs. He has proven himself as a prolific goal scorer during his loan spell at Swindon and I hope Bradford can hold on to him. However, I understand that other clubs like Carlisle, Derby, and Charlton are interested in signing him, but the reported asking price is too high. It would be a shame if he doesn't end up at one of these clubs, but I trust

Wow, Young is definitely a hot commodity right now! He's been killing it on loan and it's no surprise that bigger clubs are interested. Hopefully Bradford doesn't price him out of a move.
