Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has been ruled out of Saturday's FA Cup final against rivals Manchester City with a hamstring injury.
The France international suffered a muscle tear in the Red Devils' 2-1 win against Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday and will be forced to watch from the stands as United try to secure a domestic cup double at Wembley after their Carabao Cup success back in February.
A win for United would also wreck City's hopes of becoming only the second team in history to do the Treble, the Premier League champions gunning for FA Cup glory prior to next month's Champions League final.
In a season dogged by injury issues, Martial registered six goals and two assists in 21 Premier League games.
A silver lining for the Red Devils is that their Brazilian winger Antony is set to feature despite being stretchered off in United's recent 4-1 win over Chelsea.
Manager Erik ten Hag stated on Sunday that the 23-year-old is likely to recover in time for Saturday's final.
