Plymouth Argyle have broken their transfer record to secure the permanent transfer of Morgan Whittaker to the club.
Whittaker has committed his future to the Pilgrims by signing a four-year contract, extending his stay at the club until 2027.
During the first half of the previous season, the 22-year-old had a successful loan spell at Home Park, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 25 matches before returning to Swansea City in January.
The fee has not been officially revealed, but it is believed to be valued at £1 million, plus add-ons.
This makes Whittaker the first player in Plymouth's history to command a seven-figure signing fee as the Greens find themselves in the Championship for the first time in 13 years.
