Manchester United have agreed terms with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount according to reports.
The England international’s contract with the Blues expires in 2024 and with Mauricio Pochettino now at the helm, the club looks to rebuild following a disastrous campaign.
As a part of that rebuild, Chelsea are said to be happy to let some previously key players leave the club.
Various press reports have claimed that Mount has agreed a deal with Manchester United over a possible transfer to Old Trafford with Erik ten Hag looking to add depth to his side’s midfield.
However, there two clubs as of yet are far apart in their valuation of the player. Some reports suggest that Chelsea are looking for £85 million for the player while United are not looking to go above £55 million for a player who has 12 months left on his contract.
Meanwhile, another Chelsea midfielder could be departing London for Manchester this summer with Mateo Kovacic said to be of interest to Manchester City.
