Sheffield United are looking to sign two Everton defenders in the January transfer window.
According to talkSPORT, the Blades are looking at signing out-of-favour Ben Godfrey as well as Mason Holgate, who is currently on loan at Southampton.
Defender Anel Ahmedhodžić has been linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli which will mean that the Sheffield team will need to reinforce.
Godfrey has played just twice in the Premier League this season and is out of favour with manager Sean Dyche and is happy to leave the club.
Meanwhile, Godfrey's loan to Championship side Southampton has not been as successful as hoped with the 27-year-old having played just five times in the second tier this season. The former Norwich City man is believed to be eager to get more game time.
Sheffield United remain bottom of the Premier League with just 10 points this season and are currently seven points behind 17th-placed Everton.
