Cardiff City have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland international James Collins on a two-year contract.
Collins will leave current club Luton to reunit with Bluebirds' manager Mick McCarthy, who handed the 30-year-old his first international cap back in 2019.
During four seasons at the Hatters, the 30-year-old has played a crucial part in Luton’s rise up the EFL ladder, scoring 72 goals in 183 appearances while winning back-to-back promotions (from League Two and League One) to help re-establish the club in the Championship.
Speaking to Cardiff City TV, Collins said: "I'm absolutely delighted.
"To be here today to sign for this great club is a real honour and I can't wait to get going.
"I'm an honest player and I'll always work hard for the team. I like to link up play and I like to think my main attribute is scoring goals. That's what I love doing and hopefully I can score lots of them here."
