Wigan Athletic have completed the loan signing of Luke Chambers from Liverpool for the remainder of the season.
Chambers has gained experience with four senior appearances for Liverpool in the first half of the campaign, makes the move to League One after debuting against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup's third round.
Since then, the 19-year-old defender has participated in three Europa League matches, earning starts against Toulouse and Union SG and he has been named on the bench in four Premier League fixtures.
This signing marks Shaun Maloney's first acquisition of the January Transfer Window, reinforcing Wigan's defensive lineup.
