Euro U21 (Qual.): Montenegro beat Rep. of Ireland

Montenegro triumphed over Rep. of Ireland in a close win on Tuesday, 2x1, in a match relating to the Grp.1 of the Euro U21 (Qual.). In the starting XI there was Lee O´Connor, Will Ferry, Conor Coventry, Gavin Kilkenny and Alex Gilbert.

The opening goal was scored by Nikola Krstovic in the 4th minute. After 9 minutes, Montenegro extended their lead with a goal from Ivan Vukcevic.

With 60 minutes on the clock, Alex Gilbert came on. Mark McGuinness netted the last goal after 74 minutes. After 77 minutes, Gavin Kilkenny came on. After 84 minutes, Conor Coventry advanced to the penalty, but Nikola Ivezic defended.

In the next fixture, Montenegro visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. Meanwhile, Rep. of Ireland will host Italy.
