FA Youth Cup: QPR overcome Oldham Athletic

QPR overcame Oldham Athletic, 2x1, on Wednesday, in a match relating of the FA Youth Cup. Both Micah Hyde's team and Selim Benachour's team held their first game in the competition.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The opening goal was scored by Harrison Murphy after 55 minutes. With 70 minutes on the clock, QPR increased their lead with a goal from Adam Dougui. James Simms netted the last goal after 74 minutes.

With this result, QPR are through to the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, London's team visit AFC Bournemouth.
