Argentina with absolute dominance

Argentina edged out Venezuela in a win on Friday, 3x0, in the match for the 17th round. Before this Matchday, Argentina's national team came from two wins, and Venezuela's national team came from a defeat. In the starting XI there was Alexis Mac Allister.

The first goal was scored by Nicolás González after 34 minutes, with a left-foot strike.

In the 70th minute, Alexis Mac Allister ended it up being subbed. With 79 minutes on the clock, Ángel Di María strucked the second goal for Argentina, with a left-foot strike from outside the box, after a pass from Rodrigo de Paul.  Lionel Messi netted the last goal after 82 minutes with a right-foot strike.

After the result Argentina is 2nd in the table, 38 points, while Venezuela occupy 10th place, 10 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Lionel Scaloni's team visit Equador. Meanwhile, José Pékerman's team will host Colômbia.
