Germany overcome France

Germany edged out France, 2x1, on Wednesday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the Women´s Euro. Alexandra Popp was the man of the match.

The first goal was scored by Alexandra Popp in the 40th minute. In an unlucky moment Merle Frohms scored an own goal shortly before the interval.

Alexandra Popp netted the last goal in the 76th minute.

Thanks to this result, Germany are through to the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Alemanha's national team will play away against Inglaterra.
