Orlando City move on to the next round of US Open Cup

Orlando City edged out NY Red Bulls, 5x1, on Thursday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the US Open Cup. Both Óscar Pareja's team and Gerhard Struber's team held their first game in the competition. César Araújo made a tremendous game.

The first goal of the game was scored by Lewis Morgan, with 45 minutes on the clock. After 45 minutes, César Araújo fired home for Orlando City.

Orlando, FL's team scored their second goal of the game through Mauricio Pereyra, after the break, assisted by João Moutinho. After 62 minutes, César Araújo doubled the lead for Óscar Pareja's team. After 66 minutes, Dru Yearwood came on. After 75 minutes, Orlando City extended their lead with a goal from Facundo Torres . In the 83rd minute, Benji Michel netted the final goal of the game, laid on by Facundo Torres.

With this result, Orlando City are through to the next round of the competition.
