FC Porto stumble to defeat against Atlético Madrid

Atlético Madrid triumphed over FC Porto in a close win on Wednesday, 2x1, in a match relating to the Grp.B of the Champions League. Both Madrid's team and Porto's team played their first game in the competition. Danny Loader didn't leave the bench.

The first half came to an end without goals.

Sub Antoine Griezmann, after 60 minutes, changed the course of the game. In the 68th minute, key moment of the game, when Mario Hermoso came on. In the 82nd minute, FC Porto saw Mehdi Taremi get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. The first goal of the game was scored by Mario Hermoso, after 90 minutes. In the closing stages of the game, Matheus Uribe struck for Sérgio Conceição's team, from the penalty spot. Antoine Griezmann scored the winner with 90 minutes already on the clock.

In relation to forthcoming league matches, Atlético Madrid will play away against Bayer Leverkusen, while FC Porto will play at home against Club Brugge.
