Barcelona have far too much for Plzen

Barcelona walloped Plzen in a fantastic win on Wednesday, 5x1, in a match relating to the Grp.C of the Champions League. Both Xavi Hernández's team and Michal Bílek's team played their first game in the competition. Robert Lewandowski made a tremendous game.

The opening goal was scored by Franck Kessié with 13 minutes on the clock, from a corner. In the 44th minute, Jan Sykora fired home for Plzen, through a header inside the penalty box, laid on by Vaclav Jemelka. After 45 minutes, Barcelona's team extended their lead with a goal from Robert Lewandowski through a header.

Forward completed the hat-trick, with a right-foot strike from outside the box, after an assist provided by Ferrán Torres, with 67 minutes on the clock. After 71 minutes, forward netted the final goal of the game, with a left-foot shot inside the box, after a pass from Ousmane Dembélé.

With regard to the next fixture, Barcelona visit Bayern München, while Plzen will play at home against Internazionale.
