Colo-Colo defeated Sportivo Trinidense in a close win on Thursday, 2-1, in a match relating of the Copa Libertadores. In the first leg both teams draw, 1-1.
Early in the game, Leonardo Gil opened the scoring for Colo-Colo. After 31 minutes, Jorge Almirón's team extended their lead with a goal from Carlos Palacios from the penalty spot. Gilberto Flores netted the last goal in the 33rd minute.
With this result, Colo-Colo are through to the next round of the competition.
