Portugal beat Sweden in a superb win on Thursday, 5-2, in a match relating of the National Team Friendlies . Both Portugal's national team and Sweden's national team played their first game in the competition. In the starting XI there was Nélson Semedo, Rúben Dias, João Palhinha, Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Nunes, Bernardo Silva, Robin Olsen, Victor Lindelöf, Dejan Kulusevski, Anthony Elanga, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyökeres.
The first goal of the game was scored by Rafael Leão, with a right-foot strike, in the 24th minute. Rafael Leão reaching the landmark of ten goals for the season. After 33 minutes, Matheus Nunes struck the second goal for Portugal, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area. After 57 minutes, Portugal's national team increased their lead with a goal from Bruma with a right-foot strike inside the box. In the 59th minute, Viktor Gyökeres fired home for Sweden. After 61 minutes, Gonçalo Ramos doubled the lead for Roberto Martínez's team, with a right-foot shot. In the closing stages of the game, Gustaf Nilsson netted the final goal of the game, through a header inside the penalty area.
