SJ Earthquakes triumphed over Seattle Sounders in a close win on Sunday, 3-2, in a match relating to the Grp.East of the MLS.
The opening goal was scored by Vitor Costa shortly before the interval. SJ Earthquakes scored their second goal of the game through Cristian Espinoza, with 43 minutes on the clock.
After 72 minutes, Raúl Ruidíaz struck for Seattle Sounders, from the penalty spot. In the 81st minute, Danny Musovski struck the second goal for Brian Schmetzer's team. Jeremy Ebobisse scored the winner after 82 minutes.
In the next fixture, SJ Earthquakes will play away against Houston Dynamo. Meanwhile, Seattle Sounders visit LA Galaxy.
