England put on a dominant display at Old Trafford, thrashing North Macedonia 7-0 in their Euro 2024 qualifier with Bukayo Saka having a standout performance, scoring his first career hat-trick to help secure England's fourth consecutive victory in Group C.
The Three Lions broke the deadlock in the 29th minute when Harry Kane tapped in a cross from Luke Shaw.
Roughly 10 minutes later, Saka then got in on the action, scoring his ninth international goal with a well-executed move involving Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
On the stroke of hal time, Marcus Rashford found the back of the net on his home ground. His goal made him the first Manchester United player to score for England at Old Trafford since David Beckham achieved the feat in November 2001.
Gareth Southgate's side wasted no time in the second half, as Saka unleashed a stunning strike from 25 yards just two minutes after the restart.
The 21-year-old didn't stop there and completed his hat-trick four minutes later with a composed finish, scoring England's fifth goal.
Substitute Kalvin Phillips also made his mark by scoring his first international goal with 64 minutes on the clock.
Skipper Kane then sealed the emphatic victory from the penalty spot, adding the final touch to the rout.
With this result, England maintain their position as the leaders of Group C with 12 points. Meanwhile, North Macedonia remain fourth place, with only Malta, who have failed to secure any points, sitting below them.
