Chelsea began their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 win over Mexican side Club America at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The Blues took the lead in the 55th minute, after Timo Werner opened the scoring in the early stages of the second half though, firing in at the second time of asking from a Reece James cross.
The Mexican side levelled the game without doing anything, after Reece James played an over-hit pass back to Marcus Bettinelli and the ball skimmed quickly over the turf and into the back of the net.
With less than 10 minutes played, Mason Mount fired in a wonderful strike to give Chelsea the lead once again and subsequently the win in Las Vegas.
Thomas Tuchel's men will now fly across the States to the east coast as they will face Charlotte FC in North Carolina on Wednesday before meeting Arsenal on Saturday
