Jack Hinshelwood has inked a fresh contract with Brighton & Hove Albion, extending his stay until June 2028.
Hinshelwood's prior contract, penned in April last year, was set to expire in June 2026. However, the 18-year-old midfielder has opted to extend his stay with the south coast club for the long haul.
Having been with Brighton since the age of eight, Hinshelwood has had a breakthrough season, after three goals scored in 17 appearances, but he is presently unable to contribute due to a foot injury sidelining him.
On Hinshelwood's new contract, manager Roberto De Zerbi said: "I am very happy for Jack and for his family, he has shown what a top player he is and he deserves this new contract. We miss him a lot and are look forward to having him back fit and ready to play."
We're pleased to announce that Jack Hinshelwood has signed a new contract that runs until June 2028! 😁🤝
