Leicester City are reportedly interested in hiring Stade de Reims Féminines manager Amandine Miquel.
The Foxes sacked manager Willie Kirk last month after an internal investigation over an alleged relationship with a player. Since then Jennifer Foster has taken interim charge of the team working alongside assistant Stephen Kirby.
According to French journalist Ludovic Deroin of Canal+, Leicester City have set their sights on Reims manager Amandine Miquel for next season.
Miquel is no stranger to English football having briefly been a player in Chelsea's academy where she played alongside the likes of Fara Williams, Casey Stoney, and Kelly Smith.
Under Miquel, Reims are currently fourth in the Division 1 Féminine behind Paris FC, Paris Saint-Germain, and leaders Lyon.
Leicester may face competition for Miquel though, with Atlético Madrid and 'a USL team from Brooklyn' – likely Brooklyn FC's planned women's team – also interested.
