Crystal Palace will be without defender Marc Guéhi for a further eight weeks after the player underwent knee surgery.
The England international had to be taken off just 28 minutes into the Eagles' 4-1 defeat away to Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month.
Initially, Guéhi's injury wasn't thought to be serious with the player expected to be back in action after just a few weeks.
However, now the 23-year-old has had to undergo surgery which will see him miss up to eight weeks, which includes the next international break. New manager Oliver Glasner may not be able to select Guéhi until the end of April.
The London club has suffered injuries to several important players this season which has been part of the reason why the Eagles have had a disappointing season.
Glasner's side are next in action on Saturday as they make the short trip to take on Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
