Millwall have announced the reappointment of Neil Harris as the new head coach on a contract until June 2025 following the exit earlier today of Joe Edwards.
The 46-year-old has left his managerial role at League One club Cambridge United, where he had been in charge for only two months, to return to the Den, where he previously served as the boss for four years, from 2015 to 2019.
Harris is Millwall’s all-time leading goalscorer and also guided them to promotion as a manager during the 2016-2017 season.
He takes over from Joe Edwards, who was relieved of his duties earlier today following a poor run of results that has left Millwall just above the relegation zone in the Championship.
