Darwin Nunez came off the bench to score four times as Liverpool defeated RB Leipzig 5-0 in their latest pre-season test in Germany.
Jurgen Klopp's men took the lead with eight minutes played when Mohamed Salah deceived Peter Gulacsi with a first-time finish he rolled into the net from just inside the box following a lay-off by Roberto Firmino.
The Uruguayan forward then came off the bench during half-time to net his first goal for the club, converting from the penalty spot after Luis Diaz had been brought down.
The 23-year-old showed excellent composure to finish after being played in by Trent Alexander-Arnold for his second, and completed his hat-trick after tapping home a Harvey Elliott cross from close range.
The former Benfica striker added a fourth in the 90th minute with a curling low shot after a counter-attack led by Fabio Carvalho.
Liverpool will now look ahead to their next friendly outing against Red Bull Salzburg on June 27.
The Reds first competitive match of the season is on Aug. 30 against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
