England have gone up two places, into the fourth position, in the Fifa's new world rankings.
Roy Hodgson's men failed to go beyond the Euro 2012 quarter-finals, loosing at the penalty shoot-out against Italy, but still moved up two positions at this month's Fifa rankings.
Spain continue leading the table, after being crowned the European tournament winners, while Germany also moved up to the second position, overtaking Uruguay thanks to their run to the semi-finals.
Portugal, who also reached the Euros semi-finals sit in the fifth, whilst Italy moved up six places, reaching the sixth position, after having disputed the finals against Spain.
Argentina, Holland, Croatia and Denmark complete the Fifa rankings' top ten, with Brazil falling six places, into the 11th position.
