According to self-proclaimed football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have not yet made their interest in Liverpool winger Luis Diaz known, despite recent reports.
It has been reported that the Colombia international winger was of interest to the defending French champions but Romano has reported that Luis Diaz is a key part of the Liverpool squad with no desire or plan to sell him.
The 27-year-old was reportedly of interest to the current Ligue 1 league leaders for a fee that would have been in the region of £70 million.
Luis Diaz joined Liverpool in the January transfer window of 2022 for a fee just short of £40 million from Portuguese Primeira Liga side, FC Porto.
Since joining the Reds, he has helped them win the FA Cup, two EFL Cups and a Community Shield with 86 appearances and 22 goals scored across all competitions.
He began his professional career with Barranquilla in Colombia after spending his youth time at Atletico Junior. He then moved to Atletico Junior in 2017 before moving to Europe with the aforementioned Porto in 2019.
Liverpool are embarking upon a hectic summer in which there is an overhaul behind the scenes with manager Jurgen Klopp departing, former Sporting Director Michael Edwards returning as the club’s Head of Football and Richard Hughes appointed as the new Sporting Director.
