According to self-proclaimed football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are tracking the situation of Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.
It has been reported that Los Blancos do have a genuine interest in the England international with his current contract at Liverpool expiring in the summer of 2025.
As has also been reported, discussions and negotiations over the extension of Alexander-Arnold’s contract at Anfield have not begun yet, hastening the possibility of a move to La Liga.
Real Madrid have been linked with the 25-year-old in the past with Madrid looking to replenish their full-back ranks this summer. They have also been heavily linked with a move for Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies.
The 14-time European champions already have a couple of other signings lined up for this summer transfer window with Endrick arriving from Palmeiras and Kylian Mbappe seemingly set to join on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
There are no suggestions on either side as to whether Trent Alexander-Arnold is leaning towards signing a new deal or open to a move to the Bernabeu.
Born in Liverpool, he came through the ranks after joining when he was five. He made his first-team debut in 2016 and has gone on to make 302 appearances for the Reds, scoring 18 goals.
He has won the Premier League, an FA Cup, two EFL Cups, a Community Shield, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Internationally, he has earned 23 caps for the England national side.
